Bradbury & Hess Endorsement

After we had worked with a Berkeley architect and developed the plans for the new kitchen in our 1930s Spanish revival in the Thousand Oaks district, we interviewed several contractors to help us build it. We chose Cameron Habel because of his technical ability to interpret and realize the architect’s plans, and because of his sense of aesthetics and intuitive grasp of the interaction of color and pattern. As we moved into the project, his other qualities began to appear. His ability to communicate with his customers, to understand their input and, by passing it through his filter of expertise, to translate our wishes into tangible materials happened at each meeting. His ability to referee without taking sides when my wife and I disagreed on what we wanted, and his ability to work out compromise solutions that we both were happy with was invaluable in keeping the project on time and on budget.

Not only do we appreciate his work, which is craftsman like and detail-oriented, we also value his opinions and intellectual contributions to the projects and truly find him a delight to work with. In the end, the kitchen turned out so well that we engaged him to upgrade our upstairs bathroom, and will doubtless seek his help in the future with other remodeling projects.

We highly recommend Cameron Habel to help you translate your ideas into a comfortable, livable, handsome reality.
